"The Laocoon and his Sons" is based on the "trojan" legend in Greek mythology. The Greeks attacked Troy for ten years and never succeeded. Later, they built a big wooden horse and pretended to retreat. The Greek soldiers were hidden in the horse's belly. The Trojans thought that the Greeks had left, and they wanted to take the Trojan as a gift to Athena and move into the city. Laocoon, the priest of Troy, saw the Trojans of the Greek coalition attacking the city and warned the Trojans not to drag the Trojans into the city.Laocoon angered and threw the spears to the Trojan ,this angered  Athena who secretly helped Greece. Thus, Athena sent two giant snakes, entangled the two sons of Laocoon, Antiphantes and Thymbraeus.Laocoon was killed by the snake when he tried to save his sons. The Trojans saw Rao Kong’s death, thinking that it was warnings from the gods, and the Trojans were more convinced that the Trojans were transported into the city, and they brought the wooden horses into the city, leading to a disaster.
